Fascinated with the human body?

Small wonder! Our bodies are supported by the skeletal system in a tensegrity structure consisting of 206 bones harnessed for movement by a crystalline semi-conducting myofascial matrix. Learning about the major compression members (bones) and tensile members (muscles, connective tissue), is like appreciating the role of individual instruments in a symphony.

The Yogi that studies human anatomy becomes the conductor, in that cultivating greater awareness of each instrument makes for higher fidelity music.

Karen’s Anatomy Training fits into the Yoga Teacher Training track at Meadowlark Yoga:

Step 1: Start with Karen’s 100 Hour Yoga Anatomy Course (5 weekends + online content; anyone can book instantly. This Course weekends can also be booked separately for 20 hours of CPD hours each ).

Step 2: Build up to the 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Summer YTT Intensive at Meadowlark Yoga. You can do both of the two ten-day Modules for 200 hours on top of your 100 Hour Anatomy Training for a total of 300 Hours of YTT, exceeding the Yoga Alliance requirements. If you can only do one of the 2 Modules, you can finish up the following Summer to complete your 300 hours.
