In this workshop Frankie will lead you through an uplifting and warming vinyasa flow practice followed by a restorative practice that will give you some much needed time out during what is typically a very busy period. The practice will aim to be balancing for both mind and body and will leave you feeling refreshed and renewed. Open to all, this workshop will be accessible with options and modifications offered.
What else should I expect?
We will begin with some accessible pranayama (breathing) practices. We will then get the body moving, warming up the body and flowing through a vinyasa practice that will include heart-opening postures that will create space in the upper body and there will be standing postures including standing balances, all of which will be accessible for all levels.
The restorative half of the practice will be mat-based (seated or reclined) and will focus on hip openers to create space in the lower body. We will use props to support us and enable us to find a comfortable and restful position.
Finally there will be a guided relaxation leading into Savasana and we will finish with a short meditation.
