Paying Course Fees

The primary payment method for the YT at Meadowlark is to pay the deposit of £500 at the time of submitting the application, this will secure your place on the course.
This initial fee will then be followed by the payment of the remaining course fees of £2000 in full.
Get in touch if you’d like to discuss spreading payments over a period of time. (Eg; £500 per month or two payments of £1000, depending on budget. Please note ALL course fees must be paid in full 1 month prior to any course start date, no exceptions.)

If signing up after the above deadline, once the deposit of £500 is paid, the balance of course fees (£2,000) are payable in full. Fees can be paid by credit card through MBO, over the phone or in person at reception.

Signing up Process

  • Course reservations are subject to availability on a ‘first come first served’ basis.
  • The deposit of £500 is required to process your application & this will secure your place. Should your application be refused for any reason after you sign up, your deposit will be refunded in full. Otherwise, this deposit is non-refundable at any time. Please be sure of your intention to apply for the Immersive Training and that your circumstances are settled & you are able to attend the full course, before submitting your application, as there are not many options to ‘make up’ missed hours.
  • The balance of the course fees must be paid in full one month before any course start date.
NB: Failure to cover your full balance by the deadline may result in your removal from the course and forfeiture of your non-refundable deposit.
  • Fees are 100% non-refundable, at any time.
  • On acceptance of your application & receipt of deposit, we will give you a number of payment options to cover the remaining balance, including monthly payments. As stated above.
  • Should a trainee decide not to take up their place on the YT course for that year, they can postpone their attendance to a future training course, provided courses will be running (this option will incur a £50 administration fee payable via MBO.)
Please note: Neither Meadowlark Yoga Ltd. nor Avid Anatomy Ltd. can guarantee these courses will run any following year, especially if not yet listed on the website. It is the responsibility of the trainee to attend the YT course the year for which they have originally made their application and payments.
  • All sign ups to the Avid Yogi 200Hour Yoga Training Courses at Meadowlark Yoga are personally reviewed by our founder, Karen Kirkness.
  • Meadowlark reserves the right to refuse sign ups for any reason.
  • By submitting your deposit fee, you will have read and agreed to all the requirements for the program.

200Hour YT Course Make Up Policy

If you have to miss some of the course, can you still qualify for the full 200Hours Certificate?

Trainees are expected to manage their schedule & ensure they can attend 100% of the course offering, which consists of 22 days in total, in order to receive the 200Hour Certificate (accredited by YAP & YAUSA).

In mitigating circumstances of some missed hours, trainees who have booked and paid for the 200Hour course can make up a limited number of hours by:

  • Shadowing & attending pre-arranged classes at Meadowlark (1hr shadow/attendance=1hr missed course time)
  • Booking 1:1 sessions with the YT faculty. (1hr 1:1=2hrs missed course time)
  • Attending CPD training weekends, Mysore Intensive weeks or workshops where available.
  • The costs of the above will need to be covered by the student.
  • Either option will need to be specifically arranged with our Trainings Manager. We cannot accommodate large numbers of make-up hours, so please ensure you are able to attend all of the course from the first day.
  • As stated in the welcome emails and registration notes; in order to receive the 200Hour Certificate, the minimum 180Hours + homework must be completed within a 1 year period from the 200Hour course commencing.
  • Trainees are to let the Trainings Manager know as soon as possible, if they cannot attend any part of the course.

Please email: training@meadowlarkyoga.com to discuss any of the above.
