In your very first class you can borrow a mat for free. After that, please bring your own. We have a lovely selection of high quality mats available to purchase, or you can hire one of our mats for £2.

Whatever you feel comfortable in. We advise non restrictive fabrics so you can move freely. We have some lovely clothing online here.

I'm a total beginner, what's the best way for me to get started with yoga?

We offer Basics-level drop-in classes both in-studio and on the livestream timetable. Look for our 2022 Beginners Courses throughout the year. You can also get in touch with Emma, our Mysore Program Director, to enquire about the next Mysore Beginners Intake/workshops coming up. Another option to get started is to book a 1:1 by filling out the contact form to get the conversation started.

In terms of classes, look out for anything with “gentle” in the name or “basics”.

What options do you offer for pregnancy (pre and postnatal, aka antenatal?)

We offer a growing range of pregnancy yoga classes both in-studio and online to support mums-to-be. Join one of our antenatal classes as part of your self-care journey during pregnancy, and come back to us for your postpartum care following the fourth trimester!  And why not try a mum & baby course for special bonding time with your wee one. You've got this, and we've got you.

What are your studio policies (cancellation window, COVID measures, capacity, etc)?

Please see the Policies page for all the current information, by clicking here.

How do I find out more about Yoga Teacher Training?

Find all of our training options here.

Why is the Mysore Program separate from the drop-in timetable?

Mysore style yoga practice is different from drop-in classes because it is a 6-day per week program. Each practitioner learns at their own pace, developing and progressing according to her own circumstances under the guidance of the Mysore Team teachers.
